Build batches of tasty ice lollies with a maths centre to match 12 and 24-hour times.
Review 12 and 24-Hour Time Conversions With Maths Puzzles!
Some students may find it difficult to switch from the 12-hour clock format to the 24-hour system. The reason for this challenge is that time is an abstract concept that can be hard to grasp. Therefore, it is important for us to come up with fun and creative ways to help our students learn and enjoy the process of understanding this conversion. This year, we invite you to add some new and fun printable resources to your classroom maths centres to help your students work on these important skills.
Match Clocks, 12 Hour Time, and 24 Hour Time to Build Ice Lollies!
Let’s help your students practise converting from the 12-hour clock to the 24-hour system by making it fun for them with maths puzzle games. In this puzzle pack, students will match pictures of clocks, along with their 12 and 24-hour time conversions to build tasty ice lollies!
The aim of the activity is to match the trios of cards that show the same time to build an ice lolly. This game is not only enjoyable for students, but it also helps them to understand and remember how to convert between the two different time formats. It’s a great way to reinforce their telling time skills too!
