What is the Bar Model Strategy?
The bar model strategy, also known as the Singapore Math method, uses rectangular bars to visually represent numbers and operations. It enables students to break down addition problems and visualize the relationships between the numbers. Using this visual representation, students can grasp the concepts of regrouping, place value, and the overall addition structure.
