Magnets for Kids
Are you looking for a ‘print-and-go’ activity you can use with your students when studying magnets? You have come to the right place! Teach Starter has created a printable mini-book that will keep your students engaged and learning at the same time.
This downloadable resource includes 10 mini pages where students will learn about:
- What is a magnet?
- Magnetic poles
- Magnetic field

- Uses of magnets
- Using magnets to compare properties of matter
Students should complete the first two columns of the KWL before reading the mini-book. Then students should read the mini-book, complete the ‘What I Learned’ column of the KWL, and then complete the comprehension matching and questions at the end.
