Find The Area of a Triangle
Do you need an activity that your students can use to sharpen their area skills? This downloadable match-up activity will give your students plenty of practise with using the area of a triangle formula and calculating the space inside each figure. Students will determine the area of different figures and match them with their corresponding areas. The included cards use whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.

🆘 Support Struggling Students
For students who need additional support, provide them with a multiplication chart to help with basic facts. Additionally, you could limit the number of cards they are required to match or only use the whole number cards.
➕ Challenge Fast Finishers
If students are looking for a challenge, encourage them to create triangles with different measurements but with the same area.

Sustainability Tip: Print a few recording sheets on card and slip them into dry-erase sleeves. Students can record their answers with a whiteboard marker, then erase and reuse them.
