Assembly Line Factory Simulation Project = Fun!

Are you ready to take your classroom on an assembly line adventure? Show them the efficiency and inner workings of the American assembly line with a toy factory simulation project!

This fun and engaging resource pack is designed for primary students learning about the assembly line process pioneered during the Industrial Revolution. Students will work in teams to design and build a toy using an assembly line process.

Discover the Invention of the Assembly Line

The assembly line process was first invented by Henry Ford in 1913. It reduced the time it took to produce a car from 12 hours to under 3 hours. This new production method meant that more cars could be produced at a lower cost, increasing the number of manufactured goods.
