An Auslan calendar to encourage the signing of days of the week and months of the year.
Use this teaching resource in the classroom to help students to learn how to sign days of the week and months of the year in Australian Sign Language.
Create an Auslan calendar display in conjunction with your other classroom calendar, to integrate Auslan into your daily teaching and learning. Please note that there are alternative ways to sign Friday, Saturday and Sunday which are included in Auslan Days of the Week Flashcards.
Print, cut and laminate the various components. Use velcro dots to change the information on the calendar every morning.
Please note: The images shown aim to give a broad understanding of the handshapes and movements required to sign these key signs. We encourage you to cross-reference using resources within your local community and refer to Auslan Signbank for regional variations.
Thank you very much, as this will link in with the maths Syllabus for measurement.
You're so welcome, Sharon! We're so glad this resource will help you to implement your Maths program. Have a great day!
