There goes the buzzer! … that means it’s time to bring some fun into your maths block!

Print-and-Go Basketball Maths Worksheets

Through this simple addition worksheet, students will show they can use addition strategies to add single-digit numbers within 20 by understanding place value and composing 10. These worksheets require students to solve problems involving single-digit addition facts.

Provide each student with a copy of the hidden picture grid and accompanying colour key. Students may also benefit from access to a ten frame to work out each problem.

Maths Addition Worksheets Scaffolding + Extension

Support students who need help understanding the concepts using MABs to model the addends. They can also use a number, line, or hundreds chart to help find the sum.

Challenge fast finishers who already understand the concept to write word problems that practice the addition problems from the task cards.
