Government Vocabulary Activity Ideas

Looking for more ways to use this resource in your classroom? Here’s a list of activities you can do with your students using this set of vocabulary cards if you have a spare five minutes in your day!

  1. Vocabulary charades – Students pick a word and must act out or mime the term to their classmates.
  2. Vocabulary scavenger hunt – Provide students with a definition or example and encourage the students to find the matching word on the word wall.
  3. Vocabulary quiz show – Divide the class into teams and conduct a quiz show-style game where students compete to answer questions related to the vocabulary.
  4. Vocabulary word art – Have students choose a vocabulary word and create a visually appealing word art around that word.
