Your students will love exploring and constructing these animal block figures while investigating the concept of three-dimensional objects. The animals included in this set of 12 task cards are: penguin, swan, rhinoceros, dinosaur, elephant, crocodile, giraffe, turtle, moose, frog, lion and monkey.
Differentiated Versions to Suit Your Learners
This resource includes three difficulty levels for the construction of our block beasties.
- Level 1 – These task cards depict coloured animal shapes with block boundaries evident in the depictions.
- Level 2 – The task cards depicted uncoloured (white) animal shape blocks with block boundaries evident in the depictions.
- Level 3 – These task cards provide the least amount of scaffolding. They are white and show limited boundaries.

Print on thick card for added durability. Store them together in a large envelope or plastic sleeve.
