If there’s one thing that primary-aged children love, it’s solving a puzzle!
This beautifully illustrated image contains characters from 23 different children’s novels, fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Your students must try and find them all!
Some of the much-loved children’s characters included in this resource are:
- Harry Potter
- Humpty Dumpty
- Charlotte (from Charlotte’s Web)
- Jack (from Jack and the Beanstalk)
- Aslan (from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)
- And many more!
Multiple Uses for Book Hunt Activity
This versatile resource can be used in various ways in your early years classroom. It can be used as a:
- Whole-class activity (via smartboard)
- Reading group task
- Independent task
Why not make turn the activity into a competition? Place your students in groups and provide them with copy of the image. The first group to name all 23 characters is the winner!
