Flower Garden Book Recommendation Display for Book Week

Are you looking to grow great readers in your classroom? Teach Starter has created a flower garden book recommendation display to brighten up your classroom and motivate your students to dive into a good book this Book Week!

Easily Create a Book Recommendation Flower Garden

Creating a book recommendation flower garden is easy using our template! Just follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Students choose a book they have recently enjoyed to recommend to their classmates.
  2. Student fill in the template with the following information: title, author, illustrator, fiction/non-fiction, plot summary. Students also give the book a rating out of 5.
  3. Students colour in and/or decorate all sections of the template.
  4. When it is complete, students cut out all sections of the template.
  5. Glue the stem of the flower to the flower itself..
  6. Adhere the template to a backing piece of paper or hang it directly on the display.

And there you have it! Display your students’ work in the classroom for all to enjoy during Book Week!
