Book Week 2023 – Read, Grow, Inspire!

Teachers, it’s that time of year again… Book Week! Time to dust off your favourite costume, grab the list of this year’s nominated books and celebrate the joy that literature brings into all of our lives!

Book Week is a busy time in schools, and it can be hard finding time to acknowledge such an important event in a meaningful way. To help you do this, Teach Starter has created a fabulous mini-book that will guide your students through all the must-knows for Book Week 2023, including the theme, the artwork, the book nominees and more!

In this mini-book, students will explore the following content related to Book Week 2023:

  • Book Week Theme
  • Exploring the Theme
  • Book Week Artwork
  • Describing the Artwork
  • Book Week Parade
  • Book Week Nominees
  • Growing with Books
  • Books That Inspire
  • My Book Idea

Each page includes room for a student illustration and written response related to the topic.
