Christmas in Brazil – Ornaments of the World Craft

This Christmas, take your students on a journey around the world!

With our printable Christmas in Brazil mini book and this fun craft, students will learn about South America’s Christmas traditions and customs, specifically Brazil. They will create their own tinsel-tailed bird ornament using a print and cut template, which they can use as a gift or hang on their own Christmas tree.

The ornament will allow them to learn about and appreciate new cultures, expand their knowledge of different countries and create a unique piece for themselves or others to enjoy.

Decorate for a Brazilian Christmas with a Tinsel-Tailed Bird Ornament Template

To use, students will first colour and cut out the single tinsel-tail bird template. The template is then folded and hole-punched. Finally, students will thread a bundle of Christmas tinsel through the tail section of the bird and attach a string for hanging.

This is a fun, easy way to provide your students with a unique Christmas ornament!
