Grab a Folder & Clear Sleeves to Build Your Reusable Morning Activities for Kindy!
This printable resource is designed to be a reusable resource for your students to use again and again. With some prep work from you, your students will have handy skill-building workbooks that they can use each morning without any copies! Make each student one Busy Binder, and they can use it all year!
How to Start Building Your Busy Binder Morning Work Book
Important Note: Before printing, make sure you open the editable file and add your students’ names to the cover and the trace and write pages.
To prepare your busy binders, you’ll need a few supplies:
- 1 printed Busy Book printed worksheet pack for each student
- 1 3-prong folder (the sturdier, the better)
- Clear Sleeves/Sheet Protectors (approximately 15 per student)
- Patience (and a little assembly time)
- Dry erase markers
Begin assembly by deciding which worksheets you’d like students to have available from the start. Some teachers prefer having them all in place, while others like introducing them one at a time.
To create your Busy Binders, insert the needed number of sheet protectors into the folder using the prongs. You’ll need half as many sleeves as you have worksheets since you can put two in each sleeve (front and back). Place two worksheets in each clear sleeve with the backs together. Continue doing this until you’ve inserted all your worksheets for that student. Now, you have a reusable workbook that your students can grab each morning and start on as soon as they come in!
A Variety of Kids’ Activities to Start the School Day

Can a PDF version please be added?
Hi Reuel, thanks for reaching out! This particular resource requires that needs editing before printing. As a result, we're not able to upload a PDF version of this (although, the slides can be saved as a PDF or printed once updated/downloaded :) ) Thanks!
