This printable resource pack includes all you need to improve your students’ vocabulary and compound word recognition skills. Your download includes the following
- 8 Printable Compound Word Connect 4 Game Boards
- 24 Compound word picture calling cards
- Printable Directions
To use, print the game board and cards on thick cardstock for durability. Provide each student with manipulatives (counters, mini erasers, cubes, bears, etc.) to cover the matching words.
Student Instructions:
- Choose a card and identify the picture.
- Find the matching compound word on the game board and cover it.
- Connect four squares in a row to win!
- When the cards run out, mix them up and start again!
