Start off a New Year with Goal Setting Activities

This Back to School Goal Setting mobile is a great activity to use during the first week back from break to reflect on the previous year and set goals for the new year.  Our back to school craftivity is a great way to ease them into a new year.

Make a New Year Craft Mobile!

Using this template, your students will participate in the planning and design process to create goals and resolutions. Some goal setting prompts included are

  • Describe what your year will be like using adjectives.
  • My goal at school is to…
  • My goal at home is to…
  • Things I’ll Continue to do…
  • Things I’ll Stop Doing…

Once all of the pieces are complete, coloured, and cut out, students will then string the pieces together to create an awesome hanging mobile to decorate the classroom or hallway.
