Counting by 10’s Worksheet — Curriculum Goals

This is a fun skip counting activity with an a-MAZE-ing twist! 

Help your students practice their counting by 10s as they make their way through the number maze to the party! This independent worksheet promotes their understanding of patterns and algebra as they learn to count to 100. 

Start at the balloons and count by 10s to create a path to the party. Colour each box as you go! When this worksheet is complete, students can clearly see their skip-counting progression. 

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

Got fast finishers? Once finished, challenge your students to write in 10s from 0 to 100 on the back of their sheet. No peeking at the answers on the front!

Students who need extra support can use manipulatives or a 100 Chart to help with this counting in 10s worksheet. Alternatively, preface this worksheet with a fun skip counting game such as Skip Counting by 10s Dominoes to help get your students’ brains buzzing!

Additionally, project the worksheet onto a screen and work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks.
