A worksheet that supports students when collecting initial data and creating a digital graph.

This teaching resource aims to support students when collecting data and constructing column graphs using digital technologies.

Students identify a question that they will be used to collect data.

They input this data into a table which reflects the labeling of columns and rows in spreadsheet programs.

Using a spreadsheet program, e.g. Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, students put the data into the same columns and rows as their worksheet.

The worksheet provides simplified steps to create a digital column graph.
