Use this CVC change the letter digital activity to help students develop their phonemic awareness skills through phoneme manipulation
CVC Phoneme Manipulation Digital Fun!
This engaging CVC manipulation activity encourages students to isolate the beginning, middle, and ending sounds of words, allowing them to create new words by changing one phoneme at a time.
Each slide features a CVC word alongside a matching image, followed by another image and word with a missing letter—either the first, second, or final letter. Students will select the correct grapheme from a provided list to complete the new word.
Through this interactive experience, students enhance their phonemic awareness while working with simple CVC words. The images allow for it to be suitable for those that may not be ready for just words.
