Practise spelling and reading CVCC words by identifying and blending sounds using this interactive Google Slides activity.
Master CVCC Words in a Digital Learning Environment
Phonemic awareness is an essential skill required for both spelling and decoding words. Students need multiple opportunities to interact with letters and their corresponding sounds to build up their knowledge of our complicated alphabetic code.
This interactive Google Slides resource has been designed to allow your students to practise these fundamental decoding skills. Students will click and drag letter tiles to build words based on a picture stimulus. After making each word, students practise spelling the word once again by typing the word. The resource contains 22 examples of CVCC words.
