Read, Write, and Spell the Days of the Week

Teaching young children about the days of the week can be quite a task, especially for those just starting to learn about the concept of time. However, with the right resources and activities, students can better understand this critical concept. This year we’re excited to help you lesson plan with the latest days of the week printables from Teach Starter.

Days of the Week Spelling Worksheets

This set of worksheets is ideal for teaching the days of the week and their spellings. There are seven worksheets, one for each day of the week, with the name of the day at the top. On each worksheet, students will complete various activities related to the day of the week, including:

  • Colour the Day of the Week
  • Trace the Day of the Week
  • Write the Day of the Week
  • Cut and Paste Letters to Spell the Day of the Week

These activities help students connect the day’s name to its spelling, making it easier for them to read and remember. These worksheets are perfect for use in the classroom!
