Kick Off Your Early Years Matter Lessons With a Scavenger Hunt!
Scavenger hunts offer students an incredibly exciting opportunity to experience scientific concepts. By actively engaging in these hunts, students sharpen their observation skills, work collaboratively, and develop critical thinking abilities. This hands-on approach not only makes learning fun but also ensures knowledge retention.
Observable Properties of Matter Scavenger Hunt Pack
This set of Printable Matter Scavenger Hunt Worksheets is designed to guide students as they find items that match specific physical properties, such as soft or hard, smooth or rough, and various shapes and sizes. Each worksheet gives prompts and categories for students to follow.
Once they have moved around the room searching for an object, they will record their findings in designated spaces by drawing and writing the object’s name. We have included three differentiated options, each one getting progressively more complex.
