Subject-Verb Agreement Worksheet — ‘Do’ or ‘Does’?

Having a firm grasp of grammar is essential to effective speaking and writing, but for some students this is a tall order! This worksheet will help your students master the use of the verbs ‘do’ and ‘does’. This printable and editable resource includes instructions, eight fill-in-the-blank questions and space for students to write sentences of their own.

The worksheet focuses specifically on the use of ‘do’ and ‘does’ in context. Students are directed to complete sentences using each verb correctly. An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

  • provide an anchor chart or other reference materials for students to refer to during independent practice
