Design A Classroom Crest Filled With End of Year Reflections
This printable resource teaches your students the origins of the crest and inspires them to design their own classroom crest using their reflections on the school year. Need a bit more information? Here’s the rundown.
What is a crest? A crest, sometimes known as an emblem or shield, was traditionally used to represent the heritage and achievements of a family. A family’s crest contained specific colours, symbols and words to represent their identity.
Using a series of guided graphic organisers and brainstorming templates, your students will decide on a unique design for their crest and create it to share with the class and their families at the end of the year. Laminate them for a fun end-of-year keepsake!
