Multiple Uses for These Paragraph Editing Worksheets

These paragraph editing worksheets can be used in multiple ways in your grammar lessons. Here are a few ideas from our teacher team:

  • Editing Stations – Set up different stations in the classroom, each with one editing worksheet placed inside a dry erase sleeve. Students rotate through the stations, editing a new paragraph at each stop. Afterwards, the sleeve can be wiped clean in preparation for the next student.
  • Timed Challenge – Turn editing into a timed challenge where students edit a paragraph from the workbook as accurately as possible within a set time. This activity adds excitement and promotes quick-thinking skills.
  • Extension Activity – Have students edit one of the paragraphs using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, then have them continue or add to the text by writing an additional paragraph.
