Ready to Explore Expanded Form Numbers and Place Value Charts?
Allowing students many different opportunities and ways to practise expanding numbers is crucial to developing their mathematical understanding of place value and helping them to read and write numbers up to 6 digits long efficiently. This set of 26 interactive task cards is a fantastic way for individuals to practise and show their understanding of this maths concept.
What is Expanded Form?
Expanded form is a way to represent a number as the sum of its place values. It’s a way of breaking down a multi-digit number into simpler terms, each representing a different place value.
