🪲Insect Books For Year 1? Year 2?

We’ve got you covered if you’re on the hunt for printable guided reading books for your classroom!

Do you love teaching about insects? This printable bug book is a perfect opportunity for you to engage your reluctant readers with some creepy and crawly informational text. This book will provide reading, writing, and vocabulary development as you learn about insects and their body features.

Students will practise reading and learning sight words, phonograms, and sentences with context clues in this insect book. Students will also learn about insects and their characteristics while gaining experience with informational text structures. The text is simple enough for late first-year and early second-year readers to read confidently.
