What Are the Features of Maps?

  • keys and legends
  • symbols
  • the compass rose
  • cardinal directions
  • physical, political and thematic maps
  • lines of latitude and longitude
  • the equator
  • the prime meridian.

The resource also contains a student response sheet and an answer key.
