Year 6 Fraction Worksheets
Help students recognise that finding a fraction of a quantity is the same as dividing the quantity by the fraction’s denominator by using these worksheets.
There are two versions of this worksheet that can be used to differentiate based on the abilities of your students.
- Circle Version
- Uses unit fractions, e.g. 1/3 of 9 is the same as 9 ÷ 3.
- Square Version
- Uses non-unit fractions and explains the process to determine the answer, e.g. 2/3 of 9 is the same as (9 ÷ 3) × 2.
