Grow Vocabulary with Greek and Latin Roots

Vocabulary instruction is critical in any balanced literacy program, whether you have high, low, or EAL/D students. In higher grades, this transitions into intensive word study and a serious integration of Greek and Latin root words. This Greek and Latin root vocabulary word wall will prove invaluable in helping students grow their vocabularies, enhance comprehension, and build reading confidence.

This set of 24 word wall cards serves as an excellent display for studying roots. Each card has the root, its meaning, and a picture or symbol to aid in understanding. These are available in both colour and blackline versions.

With these word wall cards, students will grow their vocabularies and increase their abilities to use word parts to gain meaning from text.
