Need a Greek and Latin Root Words Anchor Chart?
Vocabulary instruction is critical in any balanced literacy program, whether you have high readers, low readers, or language learners. In higher grades, this transitions into intensive word study and integration of Greek and Latin roots. As students learn vocabulary words and build their vocabularies, they need somewhere to turn for additional practise. Use these posters as a reference point during future vocabulary and word study lessons.
This set of 24 posters serves as an excellent display for studying roots. Each sign has the root and origin, its meaning, and nine interesting vocabulary words using that root. These are available in both colour and blackline versions.
