Halloween is upon us, and it’s time to transform your students into problem solvers, detectives, and mathematicians! Dive into the world of maths, mystery, and pumpkin thievery with a printable Escape Room-style game. 

Crack the Case: Who Stole the Pumpkin Projects?

In this detective adventure, your students will put their multiplication and division skills to the test as they unravel the mystery of the stolen pumpkin projects. They’ll decipher secret messages, follow the trail of clues, and eliminate suspects using maths magic. From spooky equations to numerical riddles, it’s a pumpkin mystery that’ll have them “multiplying” their excitement!

This printable activity requires students to solve problems, including

  • 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication
  • Order numbers from greatest to least
  • 3-digit divided by 2-digit division (no remainders)
  • 4-digit divided by 2-digit division (no remainder)

This activity is perfect for your Year 5 and 6 students to tackle as a review of multiplication and division concepts learned at the beginning of the year.
