Let’s Learn How to Draw a Grandma!

With Grandparents’ Day just around the corner, it’s time to honour the amazing impact that grandparents have on children’s lives. This year, let’s make it extra special by encouraging our students to prepare one-of-a-kind creations for their grandmothers. These crafts are a chance for our little ones to tap into their creativity and a wonderful opportunity to improve the special connection between generations. Let’s spread joy and gratitude by celebrating the love and wisdom of our cherished grandmas!

Grab Your Grandparents’ Day Directed Drawing Worksheet!

This directed drawing activity is the perfect way for your students to show off their artistic skills, writing skills, and their love for their grandma! Using the step-by-step instructions, students will first draw a picture of a grandma using the scaffolded example. Then students will write a short paragraph about why they love their grandma so much.

You can then cut the lower section away from the instructions, fold it in half, and you’ve got an instant Grandparents’ Day card.
