As the school year begins, we are reminded of how special our students are and how much extra love so many of them need when they return to the school building. Many students struggle with self-worth, and teachers are the perfect people to help them realise their potential and understand just how important and unique they are. We’d like to help you do that this year, starting with our newest ‘I Am’ Worksheet.
I Am a Work of Art – An Affirmation Template for Everyone
This printable first-day-of-school worksheet is the perfect way to start the new school year. Use it to help your students show who they are and what makes them unique. To use it, students will write one word in each divided section to describe a positive character trait they possess. From there, they will colour and decorate the template and show off their colourful character!
Another fun option for this template is to use it to create personalised affirmation posters for each of your students. Using the editable file, add your students’ names and use Word Art to add different traits you see in each student. Print them out, add a cheap frame from the discount store, and you have a perfect end-of-year student gift!
