Blend the 100th Day of School with grammar practise by making a book that contains 100 nouns!
Get Ready for the 100th Day of School!
It’s the 100th day of school! And you know what that means: it’s time to celebrate.
So how can you do it? The Teach Starter team has loads of 100th Day of school ideas for you!
First off, why not count to 100 during maths class? It’s a great way for your students to get the chance to show off their skills — and you can even pull in some physical activity by having them jump their way through the 100th Day!
Now Try some 100th-Day Grammar Practise!
If counting and jumping around doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, we also have a printable 100 Nouns book that will bring in some extra festive flair. Your students will write 100 nouns in total, identifying five nouns for each of the twenty themed categories.
This is a great way to reinforce reading and writing skills in one go! Through this activity, students will work on several abilities at once, such as number sense, writing skills and parts of speech.
