How to Use This Fraction Puzzle
Using this improper fraction to mixed number activity is easy!
Students will need:
- A copy of the fraction puzzle
- A copy of the template
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
- Download and print the resource.
- Ensure that each student, pair or small group has the supplies listed above, and that a few copies of the answer key are available.
- Students cut apart the puzzle pieces and mix them, face-up.
- Students then put the puzzle pieces together by matching up improper fraction and mixed number equivalents.
- Students check their work using the answer key.
- Students glue the pieces in the correct places on the template.
