The Ultimate Indefinite Pronouns Worksheet Pack

An indefinite pronoun is a word that replaces a noun, but it doesn’t refer to a specific person, place, thing or amount. Some examples of indefinite pronouns are words like ‘everyone’, ‘someone’ and ‘nothing’.

This indefinite pronouns worksheet pack has been designed by the Teach Starter team to give your students practice identifying and using some of the most commonly used indefinite pronouns. The pack includes five unique activities to help your students explore and master these important parts of speech.

Inside this indefinite pronouns worksheet pack, you will find the following activities:

  1. Identify the Pronoun – Read the sentences and underline the indefinite pronoun.
  2. Fill in the Blanks – Use the pronouns in the word bank to complete the sentences.
  3. Fix the Sentence – Rewrite the sentences using a correct indefinite pronoun.
  4. Create a Sentence – Write sentences using indefinite pronouns from the list.
  5. Pronoun Detective – Read the passage and circle the indefinite pronouns.

This indefinite pronouns worksheet pack downloads as an easy-print PDF or an editable Google Slides file. Answers are included in both file options.

Multiple Uses for These Worksheets on Indefinite Pronouns

This set of worksheets on indefinite pronouns can be used in multiple ways during your grammar lessons. Here are a few suggestions from our teacher team:

  • Whiteboard Warm-Up – Choose an indefinite pronoun worksheet to project onto your interactive whiteboard. Work through the exercises as a class, inviting students to come up and underline or circle the answers.
  • Morning Work or Bell Ringer – Use one of the indefinite pronouns worksheets as morning work or as a bell ringer activity to settle students at the start of class while reinforcing grammar skills.
  • Review Game – Turn the worksheets on indefinite pronouns into a review game where students answer questions and earn points for their team. This encourages participation and reinforces learning in a group setting.
