Playing This Input Output Game
This input output game is easy to prepare and play. Here are some instructions to get your students learning!
- Download and print the resource in the format of your choice.
- Print and cut out the cards. We recommend printing on cardboard and then laminating them for longevity.
- Give each student a copy of the recording sheet.
- Tell students to mix the three sets of cards individually, and then spread them out in three different sections.
- Students match a table card, an equation card, and a missing value card and then record the match on their recording sheets.
- The answer key can be used to check student answers.
Input and output activities like this one shine in guided groups and maths stations, but can be used for individual practice as well.
