How to Play This Rounding Numbers Interactive Game

Our rounding numbers interactive game is so easy to use! If you are playing it with your whole class, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Download the file in the format of your choice.
  2. Put the presentation in “Slideshow” or “Present” mode and display it to the class on your interactive whiteboard.
  3. Ask students to stand and then flip to the first question.
  4. Students will read the question and then should travel to the corner of the room that corresponds to what they think is the correct answer on the slide.
  5. Once all students have chosen their corner, click the answer most students have chosen.
  6. Discuss why the students were correct or incorrect.
  7. Repeat!

If you would like students to complete this as an individual practise activity, follow these steps:

  1. Download the file in the format of your choice.
  2. Assign the file to students or give them a link.
  3. Tell students to put the slides in “Slideshow” or “Present” mode.
  4. Students will read each question and click on the answer. If they are correct, the “You Got It!” screen will appear. They can click anywhere to go to the next question.
  5. If they are incorrect, the “Try Again!” slide will appear. Students click anywhere to be taken back to the question to try again.
  6. Students continue until all 24 questions are answered.
