Drop the plural noun worksheets and get your students’ hands (and brains) on an engaging matching activity. This resource focuses on irregular plural nouns and would be the perfect English group activity.
This deck of plural noun cards can serve multiple uses in the classroom. All it takes is a quick change in directions. The resource contains 18 pairs of plural cards, for a total of 36 cards. Some options for play are
- Concentration/ Memory Game – Students lay out all cards, face down. Take turns flipping cards to match the singular nouns with their irregular plural forms.
- Go Fish! Game – students use the cards to play the game using traditional Go Fish! Rules.
Through this activity, students will show the ability to use irregular plural nouns in their speaking and writing.
