Are your students learning about different life cycles during science lessons this term? Frogs are unique animals that undergo a series of changes in their life. Metamorphosis is another word for a great change that happens during an animal’s life cycle. This resource includes a variety of templates and activities for your students to use when learning about the life cycle of a frog. These templates cover the four stages in a frog’s life cycle:

  • eggs
  • tadpole
  • froglet
  • adult.

The six included activity templates are:

Use the dropdown icon on the Download button to choose between the PDF or editable Google Slides version of this resource. Some activity templates require minimal assembly. The ‘Life Cycle of a Frog Spinner’ template requires cutting, stacking, and securing the middle with a split pin. 

Sustainability Tip: Some of the templates can be printed on cardstock and slipped into write and wipe sleeves. Students can use whiteboard markers to record their answers, then erase and reuse them.
