Start Your Year off “Write” with a Back-to-School Writing Activity

The first day of school is a great time for students to reflect on their upcoming goals for the year. This template will get your students “looking” forward to the year and getting excited for what is to come.

This template has four different questions that students can respond to:

• What are some things you are looking forward to this school year?
• What activities are you looking forward to this year?
• What are you looking forward to learning in maths?
• What are you looking forward to learning in science?

Through this activity, students will put their writing skills to practise by responding to prompts about the upcoming school year.
