Australia and Its Neighbours: New Zealand
While the continent of Australia is also a single country, it is surrounded by many island nations that we consider to be our neighbours. One such island nation is New Zealand.
New Zealand is located to the south-east of Australia in the South Pacific Ocean. It consists of two major islands – the North Island and the South Island. New Zealand also comprises over 700 smaller islands. The capital city of New Zealand is Wellington.
