An interactive memory match-up game where students recall the names of shapes.
Use this engaging memory game with your students when exploring 2D shapes.
Students take turns flipping over two cards. If the name and picture of the same shape are turned over the student gets a point. If it isn’t a match then the cards are turned back over and the next player begins their turn.
Students try to remember where the matching pairs are to score more points when it is their turn.
This would be better for young students if the names of the shapes were in lower case rather than capitals.
Hi Milly, good point! I have had a chat with the resources team and they agree and will pop in a change request with our designers. You should get an email when this resource gets updated.
