A set of interactive, logic-based activities where students read clues to solve each mystery.

Use this fun and engaging interactive PowerPoint with your students as a warm-up or brain break.

Mysteries for Kids

The mini-mysteries in the resource progressively get harder. The star scale on the ‘Choose Your Mystery’ slide helps distinguish the difficulty level of each mystery.

It’s a perfect interactive whiteboard activity for the whole class, promoting collaboration, communication and problem-solving.

Interactive Features

The PowerPoint is best viewed in ‘Slide Show’ mode. This allows for interactive functions to work correctly. Simply ‘View Show’ from the beginning and use the buttons to navigate through to your choice of mystery.

When your students think they know whodunnit, tap the ‘Solve’ button and then choose the culprit to find out if they are correct.

My class has loved mini mysteries. They ask to do them every day. They would love another 10 in a powerpoint ready for Term 2. They would also like a few harder ones.

My class have absolutely loved these mini mysteries as a start of the day activity. Would love to see more of them. The kids did ask if you could add a solution slide explaining each of the answers so they could see how it all connected! Keep up the great work :)
