Get up and moving with an active game while identifying and describing examples of goods and services.

Active Learning Goods and Services Activities

Don’t reach for another worksheet… Your students will love practising the identification of goods and services with this active game!

How to Play

  • Print out the recording sheets for your students. You can also have them record their answers on whiteboards for a paperless game!
  • Display Question 1 in Presentation mode and have the students record their answers. You can choose to complete the questions together or have the students complete them on their own for a fun assessment.
  • When you come to a MOVE IT slides, the students will get up and complete the exercise. Then, they will sit back down to prepare for the next question. It’s a quick and simple game that requires no scorekeeping and gets the students up and moving!

A complete set of instructions, a recording sheet, and an answer key are all included in the download.

🆘 Support Struggling Students

To set students up for success, pre-teach key vocabulary. Ensure all students understand the subtle difference in the meaning of the terms ‘good’ and ‘service’.

➕ Challenge Fast Finishers

Encourage fast finishers to draw pictures of additional examples of goods and services in their workbooks for each scenario in the resource.
