When you think back on the school year, it’s an opportunity for some fun and nacho-ordinary reflection. This year, why not spice things up with your students and guide them through a nacho-fueled journey of end-of-year reflection with Teach Starter’s newest end-of-year craft activity?
This is ‘Nacho’ Average End of Year Craft Project!
This printable template puts a fun spin on chips and salsa by having students create their own ‘spicy’ school year accordion books. All you need to complete this project is a few simple art supplies and a knack for tossing in a witty pun every now and then.
To create this craft, students will
- Complete the end-of-year reflection prompts on the accordion sheet.
- Cut, colour, and cut out all pieces.
- Accordion fold the reflection portion.
- Glue the chips to the top where marked, and glue the salsa at the bottom where marked.
- Fold up the accordion book so the chips are now aligned on top of the bowl.
