6 jumbled narrative paragraphs for students to sequence in the correct order.
Use this sequencing activity when teaching narrative writing to your students.
Cut out and laminate the sentences for each of the six paragraphs. Each paragraph contains five sentences.
In small groups, allow students to work together to correctly sequence the narrative paragraphs. A card showing the correct sequence for each paragraph is provided.
This teaching resource is also available in black and white.
Could I please have a jumbled version emailed? Thank you!
Hi Aleisha, Thank you for your comment! A 'pre-jumbled' version of this resource would indeed be useful! So we can keep all of our suggestions and requests together, can you please submit a change request to this resource using the Changes & Updates tab above? This tab can be found near the comments section. Thanks again!
It would be great if the sentences were jumbled up on the activity sheet. They are in order. So I asked my groups to cut them up and they worked out quite quickly they were in the correct order before they cut them.
Hi Chantal, Thanks for your suggestion. I can see that you have already completed the activity with your students, would you still like a version sent to you with the sentences jumbled? In future this is something we will consider with other resources and thank you for your input. If there is anything else I can assist you with, please don't hesitate to contact me.
