Objects in the Sky Flipbook Template

Being about to illustrate, describe and observe different objects that are in the sky is an important skill that young learners must have. Understanding these basic parts of the sky will help students with the necessary foundation before learning about more complex topics during future space science topics.

This fun interactive template is an engaging resource for teachers who want to help their students understand the different objects that are seen in the sky. This flipbook is divided up into sections, with each section focusing on a different object:

  • day and night
  • sun
  • moon
  • stars
  • clouds.

  2. Have students cut out each flipbook page along the dotted line.
  3. Once all six pages are cut apart, have students stack them from largest to smallest, lining up the top.
  4. Staple together across the top to assemble the flipbook!
