Learn Odd and Even Numbers Through Playing

Are you currently teaching your students about odd and even numbers? This fun Four in a Row game will have your students practising odd and even number recognition in a fun and engaging way. Challenge your students to use critical thinking skills and mathematical knowledge to determine whether numbers are odd or even.

The objective of Odd and Even Four in a Row is to connect four game pieces in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally on a game board while using clues related to odd and even numbers.  Players take turns placing their game pieces on the board, strategically using their knowledge of odd and even numbers to outwit their opponents.

How to play:

  • Place a mat and the counters in front of two players
  • Have students pick a clue from their clue column; they will then cover up that clue and a matching number from the number grid.
  • Alternate players turn until a player either has four in a row or can no longer make a move.
